The Next Chapter Continues: Help Us Bring It to Life

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been quietly (and not so quietly!) pouring our hearts into preparing our new space here at Riding 4 Life Equine Enterprises—and we’re getting so close.

When we first shared that our next chapter begins, we knew this transition would take a community. And once again, you’ve shown us just how strong and supportive that community truly is.

Progress on the Ground

There’s something incredibly special about watching a space come together piece by piece.

Our riding arena and round pen are nearly finished, and it’s starting to feel like a true home for horsemanship! There are still a few important pieces to wrap up—some paddock fencing and general clean-up—but we’re in the final stretch.

And now, we’d love a little help bringing it across the finish line.

Join Us for a Work Party 🎉

We’re inviting all of our clients, families, and friends to join us for a community work party as we prepare for opening day.

🗓 Sunday, April 19

⏰ 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Bring:

  • Gloves

  • Rakes

  • Maybe a hammer (if you’ve got one handy!)

Whether you can stay for the whole time or just drop in for a bit, every set of hands makes a difference.

This isn’t just about getting the job done—it’s about building something meaningful together.

How to Find Us

One of the charming quirks of rural properties is that addresses don’t always take you exactly where you need to go.

For the easiest route, we recommend using this Google Maps pin:👉 https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZvuMg1BHPWuQPyW7A

This will bring you right to the correct entrance so you don’t end up exploring a few extra game trails along the way. And don't worry... you'll know when you've found us. The new fencing and arena outline are very obvious from the road.

What to Expect When You Arrive

This is still a working, in-progress space—so expect that authentic roughing it experience!

  • No restroom facilities yet: That's right... our outhouse won't be in place until next week so we're doing some things the old fashioned way! We do have trash bins and some 'supplies' if you know what we mean.

  • Limited cell service: If you're wondering why our facebook page, google listing, etc. haven't been updated yet, it's because there's not enough cell service to upload it from there yet. While emergency calls will go out, not much else reliably works out there until our internet service is set up.

  • Parking: Park just outside the arena fence to the right of the gate. We trust this area to be mostly cactus free. There may still be a few old stumps and branches though so keep your eyes peeled.

  • Terrain: The ground is uneven in places, with grass, dirt, and a few natural obstacles (think rocks, maybe the occasional cactus), so sturdy footwear is a must.

  • Dress for the weather: We’ll be outside the whole time, rain or shine, so layers are a good idea. The wind can sometimes pick up and the air is still a little cooler than closer to the city.

  • Family-friendly: Kids are of course welcome, but absolutely NO DOGS are welcome at this time for their own safety.

  • Horses nearby: While this isn’t a riding day, you may see horses in the area—please give them space. They're not well acquainted with us yet.

  • Pitch in where you can: There will be a variety of small jobs available, so everyone can contribute at their own pace and comfort level. There are enough small branches, pine cones, and debris to rake up for everybody!

A Little Celebration

Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper ranch day without some time to gather and connect.

We’ll wrap up the afternoon the best way we know how—roasting hotdogs over the fire, sharing stories, and celebrating how far we’ve come together.

Looking Ahead

If all goes to plan, we’ll be welcoming riders into the new space for our first day of lessons on April 26—a milestone that feels both exciting and a little overwhelming if we're honest.

At Riding 4 Life Equine Enterprises, everything we do is centered on our horses and what they can teach us about ourselves. This new space is more than a facility. It’s a place where confidence will grow, relationships will deepen, and meaningful experiences will unfold.

And we’re so grateful to be building it with you.
