Team Tournament 2026 & Obstacle Challenge!
We're going to try something a little different this year. As many of you know, our little Riding 4 Life community is growing and we'd like to include everyone in a fall event that has a little something for everyone!
So this year's Team Tournament is going to team up with a Fall Obstacle Challenge that invites our larger horse community to join in.
So mark your calendars for Saturday November 7th at the Ranch in Oliver.
We'll have some of the same spooky obstacles, some smokies and chili, a few fun family games, and an even bigger cheering section as we invite many of our horsey friends to join us on the obstacles as well.
Team Tournament riders will ride between 9am and 12pm. More experienced folks coming with their own horses will join us to ride some more competitive obstacles in the afternoon, so be sure and stick around to cheer them on! This is a fun, approachable opportunity for everyone to take part in a real equine event.
And of course our usual Team Based approach will apply. If you ride Jake - you're on team Jake; If you ride Beauty - you're on team Beauty; and so on.
Our team tournament classes will be as follows:
Cash grab (warm up round)
Non competitive practice run through the basic course. Shared arena divided into two groups - kiddos, green horses, and lesson clients from 9am - 9:30am, and the rest from 9:30am - 10am.
My first rodeo (Team Tournament eligible)
For first time participants and their horses, or for Riding 4 Life lesson clients 13 yrs and older. Coaching permitted.
L’il cowpokes (Team tournament eligible)
For riders 12 yrs and younger with their own horses, or for Riding 4 Life inclusive riders and their lesson horse. Coaches and helping handlers permitted.
